Hey World!!! I've been so busy lately with working my full time job, along with building my photography business, I'm finding it so hard to find the time to post things about whats been going on!

As you all saw I was a part of the Boots & Hearts Music Festival which was an AMAZING opportunity and am SO thankful and honoured to have been a part of this vision of a friend of mine that put this whole Festival together, and with that meeting some amazing people, and I can't explain how proud I am of this whole festival, and of my friend putting it all together, and am so excited about Boots And Hearts 2013!!!

Opportunity;

Hey everybody!

I've been givin an amazing opportunity that I want to share with you!

I will be attending a music festival this week called Boots & Hearts about 45 mins outside my home town. It's a country music festival that a guy from my church is hosting with huge artists like Sheryl Crow, Carrie Underwood Tim McGraw, Kid Rock... And so many more check out the site at:

Regardless of all this!! I was asked to take the photos of the meet and greets and I'm stoked! The fact of being only 5 feet away from Sheryl Crow and HUGE country artists is amazing and I so excited. It worked perfectly into place that I also just picked up my brand new Canon 5d Mark ii last week so everything is amazing and I am so excited!

I will keep you up dated and post some of the photos. :)!!!

Portfolio:

Hey Everybody!!!

I am sorry I haven't updated in a while, things are pretty crazy right now with finishing school, moving back home, then moving back out into my new place with my sister and friend, and along that working and doing some intern hours as well!

MY BOOK DID MAKE IT! It is done it is graded and I am very happy with it, and this means I can post more pictures from the book now that it's done :D I'll post two tonight.

I hope you guys like these ones :) Its a bit of my studio side which you haven't really seen any of :) But there's more to come so keep checkin' back!!! :D

Hello Everybody!!!

The book has been SUBMITTED & Shipped!!!

It was scarier then it should have been pressing that final "submit order" button today, I sat there for a good few minutes being in shock that it was over now, my first portfolio book is done and officially being hand craftily made right now!

It's crazy, my college experience is coming to it's end. I'm done my last semester next Friday. Other then going back in September to finish one class, I'm done! I still can't believe it. But it's real!! It's happening and its time to walk further into this Photography world, and I can honestly say, I'm nervous but so excited to see where my life is going to go!

Portfolio Building Update:

Hello Everybody!

So my portfolio is coming to its end. I finished it up pretty much in the studio today and I am loving how it's all looking together as a book.

I don't want to post any more of the photographs for the book until its printed because I want to hold out some mystery.

Portfolio Building III:

Hey Everybody!! 

Another  portfolio building photo shoot :)
I had a lot of fun today shooting these. The weather was SO hot and it's March ... It's nuts here in Canada for that haha. Well Emily is an amazing person :) she is so full of laughter and a good time!!!! Full of fantastic humor and jokes and lots of love! :) I am honored to have been able to photograph her today and to have her a part of my portfolio!!!

She is the sister of Sarah Jane (another photo shoot talent for my portfolio)

I posted this on my other blog that I have where I post some of my favourite things along with photographs I've taken that day or week to go along with them. I also post things that are on my mind and I wanted to share this post with my photography blog as well.

I have NO IDEA why it is that I LOVE photos of people with a straight face, honestly I will go through all the photos after a photo shoot and usually theres one when my talent has a facial expression like this and I can't move past the photo. 

I think I'm going to do a series of photographs like this.

These two girls are my close close friends, not only that but were pretty much sisters. Kellee & I are biological sisters but Melody and I and the rest of my family say Melody is a sister and daughter to our family haha. 

These girls are absolutely beautiful and I loved photographing them a lot of laughs and good times.

Here are a few more shots of the girls from the photoshoot the other day. I looked up what each of their names meant and it was really cool to find out. It's interesting how much it expresses who they are really.  I love my job as a photographer bringing out the beauty in people.
